I'm with the band!

October 19th....the date that used to mean nothing to me is now going to be significant for the rest of my life! It is the day that I was banded!

I am sure that with each entry I will fill in the blanks of my life and this journey. It's been a long road, lots of weight loss and gain...lots of frustration. I feel now like I have a new lease on life, a new beginning, and I did this for ME!

This week my strength was tested. I had my operation, coordinated the upcoming move from my house to another one, QUIT SMOKING, that was a BIG one, stopped taking the last of my anti-depressants, and was on my period at the same time...and I handled it, and I am doing great! I am SO proud of myself, and I feel like now, I really can do anything!
