I think I am hunry

I am 1 week post op and 3 weeks on a liquid diet, at first it was easy, but now I think I am hungry. My head says eat but I am scared to. I have followed doctors orders all along and i dont want to mess anything up. Please let me get thru one more week, and then I can have pudding, cream soups, and watered down oatmeal....mmmm

You can get through it....or you can call your doctor and express to him/her your concerns of hunger. He might permit you to eat.....you never know.

there is such a thing called headhunger, you may think you are hungry but your body is telling you something else

just try to stick with your doctors orders, you can have liquids right?...start with your protein drinks.....if thats not enough drink

a different flavor get you a cup of liquid broth, low fat and sodium....or likejmunks2000 said call your doctor and see if there is anything other than what you are already have been drinking...I am sure that they will tell you .....good luck....

I always told myself that if I cheated now that I would cheat myself out of a bright future and somehow that got me through the toughest days. I know it is really hard right now but you need to follow your doctors orders to a T or as jmunks said you can call them and see what they have to say (some people do require a little more than others). You are in the healing stage and during this time you are preparing your body for the rest of your journey...the better you heal the better your journey. Stay positive, keep your head held high and I wish you the very best on your journey!
