LAP-BAND Patients

Hello and how are you?! I am a new bandster. My surgery date was dec 28, 2010. I must ask how long did your pain last after surgery and did you have a little discomfort in your chest? I am all new to this and i have no one to talk to about mu journey with the lapband except my mother and sister. They do not understand because they do not have one.

I don't have anyone. I even live alone. I did see my Nurse Practitioner about two weeks post-op. She checked out my wounds and gave me a B-12 shot. The pain was not too bad as long as I was on the Liquid Codeine and that was for a good 4 weeks. But at week 3 I would hold off taking it till bed time.:D
