Yes we can always count on God's grace, (His unmerited favor) to carry us through life's difficulties. Wheather we are responsible or it''s from left field the Lord is our refuge in time of storms. Hello and how are you?! I am a new bandster. My surgery date was dec 28, 2010. I must ask how long did your pain last after surgery and did you have a little discomfort in your chest? I am all new to this and i have no one to talk to about mu journey with the lapband except my mother and sister. They do not understand because they do not have one.

I don't have anyone. I even live alone. I did see my Nurse Practitioner about two weeks post-op. She checked out my wounds and gave me a B-12 shot. The pain was not too bad as long as I was on the Liquid Codeine and that was for a good 4 weeks. But at week 3 I would hold off taking it till bed time.
