How Long Didi It Take You To Heal From Your Lapband???

Today is my day 13 after being banded and I have this red big red rings around my incisions, And swelling. But went to the Dr. They said lets do some blood work. And then they say..nope no infection. So Here I am, looking at the nurse:huh: , she doesn't know what is it. Other than saying it must be a Allergic reaction. So it does itch. So did anyone else have this? You can go look at my pics and see what I am talking about. But am I alone in this problem?

Hi!

I will venture a guess that you are having a skin reaction to the sticky stuff from the steristrips, or tape... Ask your healthcare provider if could be that!

Maybe some benadryl cream?? Ask Doctor first!!!

I think it is just an allergic reaction as well. I had itching around the stiches and still do sometimes although I had my surgery ten months ago. However, red or inflamed skin is usually a sign of a skin reaction.
