Nervois and excited about getting banded on 2/15/11

I am very nervous about getting the surgery maybe its because i have never had surgery before I am also very happy about getting the surgery because i feel like i am falling apart my body doesnt want to do anything anymore its hard for me to get up i loss my breath really easily its not a good feeling at all .. does anyone have any types that well make the surgey go smothly and have a fast healing proccess

They should put something behind your ear for motion sickness.Don,t take it off for at least 3 days.I didn,t and I have never thrown up yet,also get up and move because the gas will be better the more you move.

I would start walking a little bit a couple times a day so you are used to it - this will build stamina for both healing and post-op recovery. The procedure itself is very simple and fast -- you are out and then next thing you know you're waking up and it's over. Minor soreness at the incision sites and tenderness so be gentle with yourself for the first few days -- as Lea said get up and walk around as much as you can several times a day to relieve the gas pains. You will do great and then you'll be on to feeling better as you see the scale going down instead of up!
