I am a mess-unfill here I come. :(

SO my fill is WAY too tight. I thought I could work it and give it time to stretch...but looks as if barfing in your sleep is not normal--who knew?? (sarcastic)

I hate to do it. Because I think damn now I am going to have to work hard to lose....silly huh? I am...because my brain still works the same way...thinks the same way about food. BUT I can't be barfing up my half digested meds, and burning my throat and feeling this bad. THIS is not the way I want to do it!

I will try to come back on and let you all know how the un-fill went. One door closes, another opens---boy I hope so!

I actually had an unfill of a very minute amount of fluid and it helped me so much. I too was barfing or in pain otherwise when I am too tight. I am very tight now! Good in one way, not in another, if you can't keep enough calories down, you can not burn any up and therefore DON'T lose weight at all. About 1,100 calories is needed each day, and drinking them all is no way to live either. We need to "fit" into the world of eating all types of food. I blamed myself at first and felt bad to ask for an unfill, but knew I had to. I sometimes will drink right before bedtime and then feel it rising back up in my esophogus after I lay down. I KNOW I am very tight. I am going to try another two weeks before I call the Dr. to see if I can work past this point. Drink Something Hot before eating meals, it does help to loosen up the band.

I did try the hot tea before eating yesterday. But last night--I hardly slept and I can just feel it, waiting for me to open my mouth! lol...BLOOP!

THanks for your encouragement--I just have to wrap my head around doing it right--that is what the "tool" is for.

Hope your fill works itself out too! But I am waiting impatiently for 8am to call and get back in. Thank goodness they are only 45 min away.

I had to get an unfill at one point and it really helped. I was losing when I was too full, but it was just water as I was getting dehydrated. Know that the process works best when we use it correctly. Even when sometimes it is frustrating!! Good luck!!

I am still working through my second fill. However, I now know that feeling of when to stop. It hurts like $#@@. I must chew, chew, and chew. I am still debating getting a little removed. I know at least once a day I feel like I could get sick. It might just be too much.
