Its my time

:D Well here is my story in a nutshell. I live in Illinois, married to a farmer no children as of yet but 2 dogs, Lucy the Beagle and Meg the Lab! When i first started this idea of having surgery it was 8 years ago and I was denied due to Insurance benefits. Then the 2nd time was back about 4 years ago and that Dr was no for me. Did not like his bed side manner. Then July of 2005 went to my Primary Dr who said Julie your weight is getting to high for your age. 33yr 287#. So the Dr gave me a referral to see a surgeon 2 1/2 hours away. WONDERFUL. Dr Sarker in Loyola. Love her. Beside manner, very knowlegable about the surgeries and felt band would work for me. So over months of tests back home and the Psy DR evaluation :heh: . I made it. So in December 2005 the Surgeon called me and said all looked great and turned in a Letter to the insurance co. A DENIAL letter came and then my primary Dr wrote another letter and Denial again!

So I gave up...

Not so fast! I got rid of my old Primary Dr and got a new one. Wow this Dr follows up on things right away, My new Dr said, Why did you give up on the lap bading after all tests done, I said because I am tried of fighting on for the surgery, Dr said well I am not lets try this, So she gathered every test, every doc on how I tried to lose weight in the past and she mailed a letter to the Ins co. That was Sep mid month, By Sep 29 by Surgeon called me and said Julie How does 10/4/2006 sound for your surgery. IT HAS BEEN APPROVED!:clap2: ... SO here I am now, Hoping to share and chat with others. May God always remind us it is IN HIS TIME! Jules
