Beginning the journey

They say that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step...

 

So here I am, beginning with my first steps.

 

First, I had to get my surgery approved. That took some maneuvering, but I finally got my insurance paperwork!

 

Now, the pre-op diet.

 

Surgery date is October 5th. Liquid diet begins September 25th.

 

I'm scared!

    I can only tell you from my personal experience that the surgery is really a piece of cake. This is the best thing you will ever do for yourself. Enjoy your journey, I'm loving mine.
