I bow to the power of the band.

OK, I was complaining about feeling no restriction. Finally had an episode where I felt it big time about 10 days or so. I was either not chewing well enough or something got stuck or I ate too much. Whatever it was, it felt like a heart attack in my stomach! Lasted for 45 minutes and the sweat poured off me in sheets. Can't believe how quickly the brakes are put on! I promise to be good from now on!!

Sounds like you got "stuck" I have always been told to walk during those times and if you can sip a tiny bit but that might come up unfortuneatley. When were you banded and how have you progressed so far? Sounds like you are basically in phase 1 (as I call it) still fairly new at this and learning along the way. I wish you all the best with your new tool it will all be worth it in the end. :))

I was banded on June 16 2010. So far I've lost 30 lbs including the pre-band time. It's a 14cc band and I now have 5.9 ccs in it. Think I'll be getting a little more restriction on Aug 10 because there are still times when I can eat more than I feel I should be able to. It's definitely a learning situation!

Wow you are doing great! It is a learning situation for all of us and some (like myself) will forget when in conversation or distracted because it is still fairly new and then not chew, chew, chew.
