Save the date! Its scheduled for 4-27!

I have made some great steps of change in the last 6mo. I know at first I was very disappointed by having to do the 6m diet, but it helped prepare me for the steps of COMMITTMENT OF CHANGE. It started with a food journal, to looking at the foods I eat, to calorie counting, to adding an exercise journal. I have not just a food goal to watch, but a good exercise goal that I make myself accountable for. I'm so happy that I just got my lapband scheduled. I'm ready to not be afraid of the scale and celebrate the journey of change!

Ok I got excited because I have my surgery scheduled, but got a call from the preregistration at the hospital and they said that I have to come up with 2800 dollars upfront before the surgery. I asked about payment plans and the lady is going to get back with me by monday, but its upsetting that for one I wasn't told earlier about my out of pocket expenses, I only planned for $750, and then for two that the lady is not sure if they will work out payment plans with me....I'm so disgusted. Has anyone had their surgery at MiamiValley Hospital in Dayton Ohio?? or have had this issue? Any suggestions??
