Still loving my band after three years

I have been keeping on track very well the past month. I lost 12.8 LBS for the month of January, WooHoo! I have been working out one hour a day for 5-6 days a week. i have so much more energy, i love it!

I will be coming up on my three year bandiversary, so I will be seeing my Doc. in a couple of weeks, i am hoping to get a fill, it's been over a year, I am 28 LBS. from goal. I am so ready to be there.

People ask me"would you do it all again" and i quickly respond with, " yes! without the band I would be at my starting weight plus more. i love it!" it does work, you have to know how to use the band it's only a tool and exercising is another very important piece to burning the fat and keeping it off.

I am not to goal yet but I am so loving life so much more, it is all so worth it. Thanks to my friends on here without your support it would be so much harder.

Thank you so much for sharing this with us. It's so important that we "newbies" (I got my band in August) hear from people who've had the band as long as you have, and beyond.

It's great to hear it's all been worth it for you. And great job on the exercise!! : )

Thanks for posting. I won't be a year out until May 21st but I have hit my goal and now my focus changes from losing to maintaining. It's nice to hear from someone who had been banded for three years. When you are first banded you focus so hard on losing, losing, losing and it's important to see the road ahead.

Why not go out on a limb? Isn't that where the fruit is?
