5 weeks into this...

Hello anyone out there reading this. My name is Ronnetta and I am 5 weeks into my long road to a more fabulous me!

I have no idea how much weight I have lost because I have yet to weigh myself. This really isn't a huge deal to me as I know I haven't lost anything to write home about. Everyone keeps saying that they can tell I've lost weight, and I can too, but I know it hasn't been like other patients. Most people have lost at least 20-40 lbs by now and I KNOW I haven't. I can't say I am super surprised as I haven't really gotten a clear handle on the eating yet (plus I am still thinking like the fat part of my brain and eating crap when I do eat!). Trust me, I know my doctor and nutritionist would kill me and I have basically decided that I haven't gone through all of this for nothing! I have set a goal and I WILL achieve it for my fabulous trip to New York in April. I SWEAR, I will lose 20 lbs if it kills me (hopefully it doesn't ;-) )! Gym at 4 am, HERE I COME!

Wish me luck!

Hi Ronnetta! It's a journey and there is no written book on how you will walk yours. But you are in a good place to share, vent and grow! My suggestions....try fun things to do for exercise. Belly dance, salsa classes, water aerobics...just move and before you know it you will look back and say...where did that weight go! Have a blast!
