First consult with Dr. Ahmad

:cursing:

Hi everyone my name is Catherine I decided to get the LAP-BAND®®®. So today I had my first consult 12/21/09 with Dr. Ahmad. (after i went to the seminar 12/8/09.)

I talked to his wife (she is also his assistant) first because he was still in surgery and it was taking a little longer then usual.

When i got there i was kinda aggravated cause i found out that they are out of network and prior to the visit i ask if they took my insurance and they said yes (Which they do) but i guess i should have ask if they were in network.

Soooo if i decide to do my surgery with Dr. Ahmad it will cost me 537$ and thats all, and 15$ per doctor visit (fills).

I think i am going to just stick with this doctor since i feel comfortable with him and just pay for 536$ even though if go with someone in my network it will probally only cost me 19 per appt. i dont know if im thinking realistic or i just want to have the surgery right away idk (what do you think)

So today I was able to make all my appts and if everything goes well i will have my surgery sometime in feb. hopfully early feb. everything is going super fast.

:huh2:I have to lose 12 lbs before surgery:thumbup:

10:15am 12/23/09-Cardiology consult

8:30am 12/28/09-Bloodwork, ultrasound, pulmonary.

12:30pm 12/29/09-Pych

1:30pm 01/05/09-Nutrition

01/14/10-Endoscopy

Cardiology have to plan right away so i can have the surgery in January.

3:15pm 01/19/10-Follow up with Dr. Ahmad!! Then plan a date for surgery:w00t:

:thumbup:If everything goes right i am automatically approve!!!:scared2:

:rolleyes:so I hope nothing comes up negative on any of the test so I can have this surgey.
