SpAnX!?!?!?!

Hello,

does anyone have a opinion about the Spanx undergarmites? speciafically the incognito style ( the one that goes from the bust line to the knees)???

Family and friends are suggesting a get one once i cant stand seeing and feeling my loose tummy skin.

They are expensive and i dont want to buy one ane realize it is no good.

it has been 9 weeks post op (-23lbs) last week i did not loose anything...its going slow, but i should not complain:redface:

My second fill will be the last week of Jan. I am hoping to loose a total of 30lbs by then... key word here is "hoping"

Spanx may very well be some sort of evil contraption but they do work. I personally cannot handle being "contained" like that so I don't wear them, but they will definitely keep you in place.

Lane Bryant, Torrid, Nordstrom's Rack, etc.. are all places to get them for a decent price. Or you can always go try some on so you know what size you are and then buy them from ebay for cheaper.

You can also try shapewear by Cass, same control without that super restrictive feeling, Avenue stores has a similar brand that I've heard is good, but I haven't tried them. I try to stay away from shapewear if I can help it. With the exception of the Delta Burke line (my local JC Penny's outlet sells it) AMAZING stuff and CHEAP!

I love my SPANX! The incognito is great. It slims me down about 2 sizes and smooths everything out. I don't know if I could wear it everyday cause I get hot easily. All my girlfriends who've tried them, swear by spanx. So does OPRAH. I think they are worth the money. I have 4 others, but you can always see the lines through the clothing, and I find them Too restrictive. Spanx isn't too tight if you order the right size.

Thanks.. i may just stop by a Lane B or a Avenue and try it on. I dont think i would wear it everyday, but for those occasions that i actually need to get out of my sweats and sneakers i think i will feel better without having my extra sking wiggling around.

Ok so i went to Lane Bryant to try out the Spanx Incognito and i was sooo bumbed. Right know i am a size 22 and i could not even get a 2x garmet half way up my thigh/hip area. I refuse to get a 3x, for $76 so needles to say i will hold off on the Spanx experience!! I will have to find something else to help me keep my tummy in place.

Try the Delta Burke shapewear, I tried googling to give you links and didn't really come up with one, but I know JC Penny's carries it I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the control it gives even though you feel like you're wearing nothing. If you have one near you go check, I just happened upon them one day walking through the store to get to the mall, at 9.99 I'm SO happy I did.

WOW.. i will go check JCP's. I really would like to some control, but without the huge price tag and not feelingi like a stuffed pig.

Thanks, have a great holiday!!
