Hi Jen, I was banded on 11th, and feel really good, except a bit of a sting over one of my small incisions. I'm eating very mushy meals, walking a fair bit, but am still fairly tired. I'm proud that I have so far been able to cook my husband nice meals, but I wont sit beside him eating my tiny portion of mush. I'm losing weight, but was told not to weigh myself for 2 weeks because of swelling. I have only just found this site, and am really pleased to be able to talk to people at the same stage as me, as my one friend that has had it done is 18 months post-op. She's my inspiration, and I am hopeful for the same great results. I'm not doing much housework yet, just lazy, I think, lol.

Hi, I am glad to hear you are doing so well. I have been weighing and am losing weight I guess since I'm still on liquids. I have a lot of air on my chest and it is somewhat painful. They told me to take infants milicon drops and they help a little. I'm still not feeling great, but I'm trying to make myself feel a little better everyday. No housework for me either. My husband is doing a great job! I may tell him the Dr. said no housework for 6 weeks :0) I wouldn't do that!
