Approval time???

From the time of the consultation with your doctor to the tome of the surgery - how long does it take? Because I'm ready NOW!!!

I dont have a clue Im waiting on my insurance approval now. Im so excited and anxious at the same time because I want to hurry up and get the procedure done so I guess it depends on ur insurance

My advice is to keep on your insurance company and the doctor's office. The clerical person told me she could get approval in 2 weeks. Unfortunately, I was denied to do some paperwork issues. After 2 1/2 months, I was finally approved.

My first request for the surgery was denied and it took 10 days to hear that. That was in Janyuary of 09. My second request was in August of 09 and it took 7 days and I was approved. Surgery was a mere 28 days later, banded on september 16th 09!!!!! Doing well, down 23 pounds!
