This week I got Insurance Approved! =)

9/30 is my Consult with Dr. Mitch Roslin @ Lenox Hill in NYC. This is becoming real for me now. I truly didnt expect this approval to be so quick. My doctor only send the referral to HIPUSA last week. I am in utter shock.

I am scared, excited, and have butterflies in my stomache. I am scared of pain, scars, restrictions. But, nothing else has worked for me so I guess I need to take the step and soon. Wish me luck! :cursing:

Keep with this site and you will find an answer to just about everything.

Go to the chat line and ask there too.

Start if you haven't already to keep a food dairy, drink your liquids too.

I wont' lie, it will hurt, there will be scars and you will have restrictions.

But that's ok, you will survive.

You'll learn to use your new tool.

The new life change will be hard cause you'll be eating differently, maybe drinking more then you're used to and oh ya YOU'LL BE LOSING WEIGHT!

Good for you! I just found out last week I'm approved too! That sure makes it feel real, doesn't it? Good luck to us both! Looks like we are both starting on our new journey.

After approval things move pretty quickly...my surgery is Tuesday...I'm ready to start the rest of my life!
