Ken Hollis for Lap Band Surgery?

Does anyone here have Dr. Hollis as their lap band doctor? I really do like his staff, especially Cindy, although all of them have been very nice and informative. Any information about him as a doctor, would be appreciated. :smile:

Well, I consulted with him at his location on Resource Parkway earlier this month. He seemed nice and was very informational. I had both my mother and husband there so I could get feedback from them about the doctor too.

It did seem like he had most of what he was saying memorized but I noticed when I went to True Results he was giving a consultation to a group at one time, so I imagine that's why he seemed so well rehearsed.

he came to my bedside before the operation and asked what difference I had made in my weight. He was very glad and thanked me for losing so much.

Yes! Thanks for the information. I had heard he was a good Doctor, but nothing else. I have to do the 90 day diet before I can schedule my surgery. It helps to know of someone else that has had him. I take it that you have had your surgery? Hope you are doing ok. Can't wait to get mine done. Hope you do great and loose lots of weight! You must be from the Houston area? I'm from Alvin. I was banded by Hollis (cash patient) 2 yrs ago. He is NICE and just a great person! Im not to pleased w/ the staff, but the doctor makes up for it
