Does anyone have a bump under their port site?

Hi there:

Just got banded 2 weeks ago and still have this bump under my port site so my stomach is lopsided. Does anyone know whether this goes away?

Thanks

WELCOME TO LBT! And congratulations on your banding! The port site will have a LOT more swelling and it can stay for months. That's where they made the biggest hole in your abdominal wall to put the band in. I'm 2 months out and the swelling is down (felt like a baseball before). I can easily still feel my port, but I don't have much stomach fat. Good luck! -BG
