i lost 72 lbs.

I got my band in November 2006. I was very happy with it for the first 2 years. I lost 72 lbs and have put about 30lbs back on. I have never found a good place with my band. I am either able to eat anything I want or not eat anything at all. I try to talk to my doctor about my frustrations and I seem to get the same answer. To keep adjusting it (every time I go to adjust it I have to pay $150) and I cannot afford it anymore.

I throw up at least 1 time a day and every time I go to eat I feel like someone is waiting for me to get up and go to the bathroom to throw up so I get frustrated and it makes it all worse. I am only 26 and I would like to live a normal life. I thought this was a great decision to help improve my health and my way of living but all it seems to do it make others upset at me and make me feel worse about what I did.

Sorry I don’t have such happy story for everyone.

:rolleyes2:

this is a sad story... what's up with the doc? have you tried another? second opinion maybe? maybe the fills/unfills have not been monitored/adjusted closely enough?

im sincerely sorry to hear of your issues.
