Well, let's see here. I guess I should just start at the beginning. I began my quest for lap band last July. I started the process by going to a seminar, actually two seminars by two different docs, in August and another in September. It has now taken about 8 months to finally get to my date!! It has been worth waiting for! I am so fortunate to have gotten approved so quickly and on the first time. I will be banded on July 7th. :rolleyes2:

Best wishes to you, I will be banded on July 20!! We will be July Buddies. Now that is a good thing. I think where ever you start is a good place to start. I wanted to get healthy and this was suggested a year ago for me too. Funny how long this process is. I will start my liquid drink in one week. I am not really looking forward to it, how about you?
