9 days post op still on Liquid Diet

I would kill for some food that I can actually chew. Still drinking my Isopure drinks getting in my 60 gams of protien a day> That is what my doc stress. Protein, protein..Going to daddy's today of course. Happy father day. Mom is cooking a meal that i get to smell and look at while I sip my food. It's fresh vegs for the garden. Green beans with ham. Oh lord I have to be strong today.

On a fun note, I have lost oll of that extra surgery weight and no below my orginal weight. upside i'm losing about 1 pound a day due to the liquid diet. I will see doc tomorrow for 1st post op visit.
