"SHOCKED"

Well, today I went to have another adjustment. As of 2 weeks ago, I had 2.6cc in my band. Well, I've been able to eat whatever I wanted and was not happy about this, so today I was going to share this with him. As I received his usual tiny bit of .2 cc's of saline, I asked him how much did I have in my band? Expecting him to say 2.8, you can imagine my sad surpirse to hear him say "1.5"! Holy crap!!! No wonder, I've been so hungry. When he withdrew the saline from my band, it only had 1cc

Starting to worry

WTF is wrong with me??? I am just eating all the time, because I'm hungry all the time. Should I have gotten Gastric Bypass instead of the band??? I am going for like my 10th fill on Thursday. I'm at 2.6cc in my band, and I just can't really tell I've even got a band. I'm seriously worried. I think when I go to the Dr. on Thursday, I'm gonna ask him for a diet pill perscription. Awe Crap!

Well, I was supposed to go back to the Dr. on Dec. 20th, however, I knew I was just eating way to much so I moved it up to today. Well, I seem to be finding the weight that I've lost. I gained 2 lbs since my last visit 2 weeks ago.:think Life sucks!!! I told him to wire my mouth shut. Instead he just gave me ANOTER .2cc's. What is the deal with this ".2" business. Made it through the holiday

Well, Thanksgiving was wonderful. All the family was there & everyone was doing great. Food was awesome! Actually ate more than I should have, (No Doubt) but still managed to lose a couple pounds over the last week. I've never been able to say those words during the holiday's. So, Yaay me:clap2:!!!! :tea:OK, so I went back to the Dr. on 11-15-07,and I had sadly lost another (1) pound. So this time, he gave me .4cc's to make a total of 2cc's. I hope this helps. 1 lb lost for 2 weeks!

Well, I went back for another fill yesterday, and I have lost a whopping 1 lb for the last two weeks. :girl_hug: And again, I only got a .2 injection of saline. That puts me at 1.6 cc. I sure wish he would be a little more generous with the saline.:phanvan Oh well, I go back to see him in 3 weeks so maybe I'll lose a couple more pounds by then. 4lbs this month

Well, went back to the dr. last Thursday for another adjustment. Lost 4 lbs for the month. Not so great, but it's better than the 1 lb that was lost for the previous month. Only received .2 again. This puts me at 1.4 cc. T'aint enough!!!!! I told him to add at least a Cup, LOL. Oh well, luckily, this time he said he would see me in 2 weeks instead of a month. So, I will be going back on the 25th. Can't wait:whoo:!! I have to say that that is a mighty big needle poke for only .2 at a time.:faint

1 lb lost for a whole month! WTF????

Oh my heavens, went to the Dr. today for my 3rd fill. And I lost an amazing 1 freakin pound!!!! That SUCKS!!!! But I just don't feel like I have any restriction what so ever and I just stay so freaking hungry:hungry: WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME????? 2nd Fill

So, yesterday I had my 2nd fill. And it was, of course, as painful as the 1st fill. He gave me another 1/2 a cc. for a total of 1 cc in my band. But I'm really confused because he said that we were almost half way there? At 1 cc???? I don't really understand how that can be possible. I mean it would be great and all, But does that mean that he expects me to lose the weight with only like 3 cc? Is that normal? I just don't know!!! Back from 1st Fill

I'm back from getting my 1st fill. Wow, what can one say? Oh, I know, I know what to say.. ... BIG FREAKIN NEEDLE!!!! WTF!!!:faint:OOOOUUUCCCCHHHHHHH!!!! 1st Fill TODAY!!!

YAAY!!!!!:clap2: I'm so excited, today is the first day of the rest of my life!!!! I have to be at the dr.'s office at 9:20 for my first fill. Anticipation is killing me. How will it feel? Hungry girl!!

Well, one week from today, I will be receiving my first fill. And it can't get here fast enough!!! I'm just so darn hungry. No Fill Monday

Well, shoot & dangit!!!! Sweet nibblets!!!! I went to the Dr. today, & I thought it was for my first fill. Well, news flash Tom Brokaw!!! It wasn't. I don't understand why I had to go today. They made another appointment for me for next week, August 2nd. This will be 6 weeks post op, so surely I will get a fill then, right??? Weigh Day

4 Weeks Post op today!!   Ok, what's the deal????? I only lost 1/2 a pound this week!! Good morning, So, today makes 3 weeks post op. Weighed in this morning at 224.5 Lbs. That's only 12.5 lbs since surgery on 6-19-07, but I'll take it!!!!:whoo: That's much better than gaining 12.5 lbs right??? I went out to an actual restaurant on Sat. night, and was somewhat nervous about it, but I done good, it was a Mexican restaurant & I ordered something called Plaza Chicken Salad, translated is lettuce, tomato, red onions & grilled chicken. Happy 5th of July

Hello fellow bandsters!!!! Well, yesterday I tried my first "MEAT" since preop!!! It went down great, probably a little too great. I can really tell that the band is working, it's unbelieveable! I have an office job & before the band, all I wanted to do was snack on junk all day..... But now, it's like, "Oh is it dinner time already?":whoo: How cool is that??? It's Monday

Well, I'm enjoying the soft foods tremendously, I'm just scared that it may show up on the scales just how much I'm enjoying soft foods.:hungry: (not good)! But so far, the scale hasn't changed up or down. My next Dr. appt. is July 19th. I don't know if I'll get a fill or not (probably not) but I would gladly except it. 1st Post op Dr. visit

Today was my first dr. visit since being banded 10 days ago. According to his scales, I have lost 9 lbs since surgery day & a total of 13 lbs since my first visit with him. I hope I keep this off after moving on to solid foods. My next visit to see him is in 3 weeks & he told me that I should be on SOLIDS by then. YAAY, not a problem:hungry: I'm ready. Bummed about all the 4th of July foods I'll be missing but maybe by next years 4th of July celebration, I will not be ashamed to go

A Better Day

Hello, today has been my best feeling day yet. I was banded 9 days ago. As of yesterday, I increased the consistancy of my food intake. And this has helped me tremendously. I was just so weak. Not making my soups quite so thin now. Tomorrow is my first dr. visit since banded & I am looking forward to seeing him. I hope he lets me go ahead & start blended foods a little early. 6 days post of

So, ok, today is my first day back on the job:phanvan. But it is only a half a day, so thats good. Well, this morning I strained a can of Chicken Noodleo's & a few of the noodleo's accidentally fell into the juice. WHOOPS!!!! So, I chewed & chewed & chewed & I hope I didn't mess anything up. But they were wonderful. Hey, if I was great at starving myself, then I wouldn't have had to have this surgey in the first place. :faint:I will not let this happen again!!!! TTFN, Tgirl

5 Days Out !

Well, today was my 5th day post op. Thrush seems much better today. Tomorrow will be my first day back at work, gonna try it for a 1/2 day. Lucky for me, I have a desk job, but then again, if it were not for that DESK job, maybe I wouldn't have needed this lapband surgery in the first place! Anywho, will try it & see how it goes. Today's menu was: Soupy mashed potatoes, sugar free popsicles, protein shake. Doesn't that sound yummy:rolleyes:??? Oh well, on a brighter note, the scales

Black Cloud looming above me

June 23, 2007, I awaken with the same horrible taste in my mouth that I went to bed with. Only now, it's worse, my tongue is swollen & has white junk stuck all over it. It feels like it should be a very cold & rainy day out. And possibly a raven knock knock knocking outside my chamber door.....( I also feel alot like Wednesday Adams of the "Adam's Family" writing this down). :heh: However, it's a beautiful, extremely hot Sunday.
