Well it has been a while since i have posted in the journal.   Here is a summary of what has happened May 4th Surgery: It went well, i recovered pretty fast, within a week i felt near 100%. June 18 First fill: I got a max 5ccs (felt no restriction whatsoever when i got on solids). I gained a few pounds from pre op because being back on solids my body punished me for losing lol. But thats the process.   July 4th Second Fill: Yesterday, had a max of 2ccs (felt restriction for only a few
Well...I weighed myself this morning, and i've lost 10 pounds, so i'm pretty happy about that. No change in exercise, just stopped eating basically. I'm on yogurt alone. I tried the cottage cheese and i can't stand it. So, yeah, brings me closer to goal...I think that being a young man has something to do with it, since it's easier for me to lose weight...although it has never felt easy for me in the weight department. I'm only staying motivated by reminding myself of the greater good.
It's 2:12am day 2 pre-op diet...I can't sleep because i slept during the day yesterday (studying all night the night before for exams).   I am thinking about food, it is unbelievable, i could eat anything right now...I won't, i can't.   I will definitely look back on these 10 days as probably the hardest thing ever once i get past them!   No wonder i could never stick to any diets...at least now at the end i have the prospect of the band, health, weight loss...before i would've given in t
Wow...i have eaten less than 900 calories today. in the past 24 hours i only ate 3 big yogurt containers. I have an empty feeling in my gut...i want some carbs or meat...anything.   I am happy that i am down like 7 pounds...but really it's not a big deal, i used to be able to lose that much in a day before, but then it would come back right away...the only difference is now i can count it because i am going to keep it up this time!!   I am going to go out for exercise when i feel hungry,
Hey, its 12:54 april 24th 2006....i should be studying exams but i'm here doing my journal!   I will start with what i did before getting into this, since i don't have much to say about the pre-op diet (i started 1 hour ago...its a 10 day diet consisting of yogurt and cottage cheese)   So....around march i started thinking out of the blue...I need help, i've tried everything, I don't even know what clicked but all of a sudden i felt the urge to look up everything on the RNY gastric bypass.
