i won my appeal ,, the independent medical review was a success,,,the vote was 2-1 in my favor and i got my sleeve 5/28/10 exactly 4 weeks ago today,,, i had a very easy time of it,,,i was amazed at how easy a time it was,,, i am doing great,,, my only concern is i am afraid that my sleeve is a little bigger than most as i can eat more than most people say they can eat,,,, i am hoping that while this may make my loss slow, i hope to still lose the weigth i need to lose,,,, jeani:thumbup1::scar

hey guys, i am so dissapointed, i probably shouldn't be i guess i kind of ecpected the denial but i guess in the back of my mind i was hoping it would be approved. The letter says this is not a denial of service, so i take that to mean i do qualify for WLS just not the sleeve because they consider it investigational.
