Just 4 more days until I am banded... completed my final office visit and surgery registration this past Friday... actually I'm not too nervous.. just ready to begin my new (healthy) life...
Getting some strange looks from folks after they found out that I was having lap-band surgery... Just because I'm not 300lbs over weight... does't mean that I am not OVER-WEIGHT... just had to vent for a minute... back to work...Remembering that this time is all about Me and My health...not the opinions of others...
This has been a very trying week for me.... I never really realized the depth of my addiction to food... The PTA has been celebrating Teacher Appriciation all week long... so there have been snacks in my box everyday this week and they have provided us with lunch including desserts.... today when I entered the lounge... there was a large spread of pastas and pies.... I was soo tempted to just take a small sample of all of the goods... but instead, I decided to come back to my class and Blog... w
