Yesterday Was My B'day And All Went Well

HI All. I expected to be really emotional yesterday but since I wasn't due to go to the hospital until midday I busied myself with washing the car, hoovering etc. An hours journey passed fast and I was told to shower straight away once shown to my room. I walked to theatre, had the anaesthetist tell me a joke, I told him one back. I had read that if you suffer travel sickness, you will probably have more nausea on waking so I mentioned this and was told they would dose me up good and proper.
