I had problems with my first laband surgery (band was too small and I had horrible reflux, throwing up in my sleep, etc.). It took a year after the total unfill to get insurance to pay for the removal and replacement of the band. In the interim, I gained back all that I had lost plus another 60 lbs... almost 100 pounds.
