Surgery Date December 17

Well maybe I was a little hasty in saying no shoulder pain! It's not that bad really I just get up and walk around the house and it helps. Still just a little tender, but I can get up and down better! I'm a little hungry just the clear liquids seem to fill me up and I'm not hungry for a while. Everyone have a good day!
I did it! Today was my band day! Was at the surgery center 5 hours the surgery itself was a little over an hour my surgeon repaired an umbilical hernia I didn't know I had! My surgeon used the spider so I have one large incision around my navel area and a smaller one just a little higher for my port. I'm sore, and have only had to take a little pain med. I don't really feel the gas pains in my shoulder, but my tummy is hurting I can feel it on the inside. I have sipped on water, weak tea
My surgery is December 17. Today is day 9 on the preop diet. I've been having protein shakes twice a day, and one meal is soup. I have had a headache all day today, but for the most part I have been doing pretty good. I have even noticed the last couple of days I'm not hungry first thing in the mornings and have to make myself drink that morning shake!
