I braved the blizzard warning, and traveled the 120something miles (One way) to go to my seminar last night. The Surgeon was very informative, even though I found out most of my information here on the site. I was worried because he said several times that you must have a BMI of 40 or more. After the seminar, I was able to ask him about it. He said that he himself thinks that I would be a perfect candidate for the surgery, and he wouldn't have a problem doing it.
