Hello everyone!

Well tomorrow it will be five weeks post-op, and I am doing pretty good. I have lost thirty-two lbs and I have recently started to work out. I get my first fill on Wed. and I can hardly wait!! I am a little confused on the diet that I am supposed to be on since I went to solid food, so I have been doing like the atkins diet? I will ask the doctor when I go and see him! Well I hope everyone is doing well.

I now am noticing I have a little bit more energy too! I am so glad I had the lap band done! This is the first time in 3 or 4 years that I am below 300 lbs. This is huge to me!! This really gives me hope that someday I will be able to have children. Good luck to everyone that is starting out and to you that have already begun!!!:tt2:

Hello all

So tomorrow it will three weeks since my surgery and I am down 26 lbs. I am so proud of myself. I love it when people come up to me and tell me how good that I am looking! That has never happened to me before. I do have a question that maybe some of you can answer, I get my first fill on Sept. 15th, at 9:15am should I eat before my apt or go on a empty stomach? Also does it hurt to get the band filled? I know the needle going in is not going to hurt but do you feel the pressure on your stomach when they tighten it up? Any answers will help! Thanks guys!!:scared2:

14 days after my surgery

Well this is my first blog ever! I had surgery on the 9th of Aug. and everything when really well! I I go back to work tomorrow and I have lost 25 lbs since I started the pre-op diet. I don't know if any one else feels like this but , I have felt that I need to get my band filled for about 7 days now! I have been eating solid food for about 7 days as well. I have not thrown up at all. My first apt. with my dr. is not until the 15th of Sept. and I can't wait to get this thing filled and not be hungry all the time. Well good luck to everyone who is thinking or has gotten the lap band it is sooooo worth it!!
