lost and gone forever

Well It has been 8 weeks since my surgery and I have lost a total of 40lbs!!! I can't even believe it!! I was so proud of myself that I got up at 8am and went to the gym!! I never get up that early! Let me tell you it felt really good! I have always put everything and everybody else's needs in front of my own and for the first time in 26 years I am changing that! And I got to say it feels really good!! Well to everyone that has recently got there lap band just remember that know matter what just keep fighting and it will work out for you!! Good luck to all!

Way to go! I am also 8 weeks past surgery. I have loss 33 lbs. I am so happy for you. I think so many women put themselves in the same position. We put everyone else first. I am proud of you for putting yourself first. Keep working hard and enjoy the journey!
