Start of Process

August 23, 2006   Had my consultation with at lap-band clinic on Friday, August 18 and after many questions and concerns were answered, I booked surgery for Sept 14. Becuase my surgery was less than a month away, I had to do pre-op tests the next day. Did blood and ECG tests (chest xray was already done). Started my pre-op diet of yogurt and cottage cheese today. I'm restricted to these two foods for the next three weeks so that my liver shrinks and makes it easier for the docs to operate.
