Had my surgery Oct 28. My Dr. said it was a wonderful thing that I lost my first 20 lbs prior to surgery or else he would not have performed the surgery once he saw how much fat that had accumulated on my liver. I started at 303. At surgery I was 280. It was only because of the liquid diet prior that I was still a candidate. I self imposed mine at 4 weeks prior.   I did cheat somewhat at least once a week but kept it to a protein meal later in the day. It was hard but ohhhh how happy I am that
