My Life after Getting a lap band.

Yesterday I underwnet the lap band procedure. It was performed laproscopically at Morristown Memorial Hospital by Dr. Abkin. I arrived at the hospital at 5:30AM, was in the operating room at 7:30 AM and was back in the recovery room at 9:00 AM. I was discharged and sent home at 1:00 PM.   There was some discomfort but nothing that could not be described as tolerable once I received some pain medication.
