Tip #1

When you go to the doctors office for your initial consultation don't forget to bring your paperwork. I was given a three ring binder during the free seminar that I first attended and inside the binder was a couple of questionnaires that I was told to fill out and bring with me at the time of my consultation that was a week away, well to make a long story short I left the paperwork at home so when I went to my appointment a few minutes early and asked for another set of questionnaires to fill out while I waited to be called in to see the Doc I was told that I didn't have time to fill out the paperwork before my appointment and that I would have to re-schedule. Wow what a disappointment to wait another week to get the ball rolling, just two more days now and I'm carrying my paperwork with me everywhere I go so I won't be caught without them again.

Countdown to Freedom

I am going to try to journal my experience to weight loss freedom, I call it that because I feel that all my life, even when I was a police officer and before I was carrying 100 extra pounds, I have struggled with weight issues it seems that I was either trying to loose weight or trying to maintain my last weight loss and normally without much success. I am pre-op, I am 53 years old and 300 pounds I have just recently decided that I'm out of control I can't seem to diet or work off any weight like I have in the past and I feel that if I am ever going to get my weight issue under control I need a tool like the Lap band to help me.
