I really need some encouragement but I am a little afraid. I am about 125lbs overweight and I am just starting to have some health issues at age 43. I have talked to my doc and he says "Lapband - Great Idea"! But I can't seem to get myself signed up for a seminar. I'm afraid of the surgery itself. I keep thinking that something my happen to me while I am being operated on. My husband if fighting cancer right now and if something happens to me - what about my kids. Is it safe?
