The realize band has a high percentage of slipping and erosion and unfortunately I got both severely. I was fine for the first year and then after that the band slipped to a point where it divided my stomach in two and both sides were swollen like a balloon. I had to have emergency surgery to remove the Band but by this time the erosion from the slippage had poked a hole in my stomach and I ended up in ICU with a tube down my throat for 5 days. Please make sure if you have any complications l
