I had a very little fill yesterday .2 ccs. I thought I was already at 6 ccs, but the doctor said I was actually at 5.8. so now I am at 6.   I am doing soft foods for today just to be safe. I lost 3.5 lbs in the past 2 weeks.   I am now down 30 lbs!!!!!   I have noticed that I am pretty tight in the morning and can not really eat anything solid. I started eating a few bites of yogurt when I wake up just to have food in the pouch and jump start my metabolism. Night eating i
So I am going to get a very little fill in 1 week from today. I am able to eat just a little too much. I am still lossing a little weight, but really slow.   For lunch I had a 1/2 of a chicken skinless boneless thigh and a little bit of brocoli and a laughing cow cheese triangle. That filled me up and I am satisfied, but I did not have any restriction. I just got full.   Is that right? I guess I am waiting for that tight restriction feeling before I stop eating. Am I doing this wrong
On Friday I went to the doctor to get a little taken out of my band. She took out .3 ccs so now I am right at 6 ccs.   I feel so much better now. I had thrown up food 3 times in 3 weeks and at most of my meals I would get the tight chest feelings. For a while I just thought that is how I was supposed to feel during a meal, but the vomitting did it for me. Had to get some taken out...   I may go back in a few weeks to get a little bit put back in, but will wait to see how the weight loss
It has been 2 weeks since my last fill. I am really having a hard time eating, but am getting in small meals so I think it might be okay.   I had mexican last night and it made me vomit. I just ate some chips and queso and a half of an enchilada. I was in the bathroom within minutes of finishing. It was a very bad food choice and I will not do that again.   I am still learning to eat with the band and small meals. For the first 3 months of the band I did not really have any restrictions
since my last fill on Monday I have lost 4 lbs!!!!!!   I am still having a hard time eating at meals thought. I eat a banana for breakfast and that takes a little while to go down.   The hard part is lunch and dinner. I am eating good healthy food and it is hard to go down.   I am hoping that it losens up just a bit but I am loving the weight coming off so fast. :mad2:   I am going to the gym too... 3 times this week, not too much but I am enjoying it.
Wow I am really feeling great this week!!!! the fill on Monday has made a big difference. I know my stomach is still swollen from the fill, but I do hope this one last for 4 weeks or longer.   I am also really excited about joining the wellness center. I went to visit it yesterday to get a tour and it was amazing!!!!!!!   They had everything I really wanted, except a low price. But you get what you pay for. It is right on my way home from work too. It has a great pool area and even a
I had my 5th fill yesterday. I got an additional .8 ccs to bring me to 6.3 ccs. I can finally feel some restriction. :crying: I had tuna salad today for lunch and I did get full and had to stop eating before I got too full. It has been almost 4 hours and I am still not really hungry. I have been really frustrated these past several weeks. Just not really seeing any changes. i am trying to stay possitive. it just gets hard sometimes. it feels like no one really understands wha
Well I had my 4th fill yesterday and I think I am pretty much there for now. I was at 5.3 ccs and now I am at 5.5 ccs. I feel great too!!!! The actual fill was very traumatic for me. He put in a little and I got up to drink the water. It would not go down at all. I had to throw it up. He then pulled a little bit out and I still could not swallow any water. He then pulled all of it out and it turns out that I had some air in it and I was at 6 ccs with the air. He said that sometimes
It has been 1 week after the 3rd fill and I can tell I am almost there. I am going for my 4th fill on Thursday of next week. I am trying to get most of the fills done 90 days after surgery. My insurance does not make me pay the copay for 90 days after surgery, so that is really cool.   I am getting full faster and eating a lot less. Night eating is still a problem, but getting a little better. I got a few things stuck last week after the band fill. One time I even had to go to the sink a
I got my 3rd fill yesterday afternoon. I am now at 5.3 CCs. I feel great too.   I lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks!!!!!!!! :glare:   I am on a huge high about it too, if you can't tell.   He did tell me that I have to start working out. I have been getting in the pool a little but not enough to really count it as working out. I am on liquids today and soft foods.   In the waiting room I met 2 ladies that were getting revision surgeries from the band. they had the 4 CC bands. they kind of sc
I am almost 2 months out of surgery.   I moved my 3rd fill up to next week. So I will have exactly 2 weeks between fill 2 and fill 3, instead of 4 weeks. I am just ready to be at my sweet spot so badly.   I have noticed that I get full much faster and on a lot less food. And finally the scale is agreeing with me    Dinner is still the hardest. I pretty much eat the same meal for dinner that i had for lunch (little chicken and veggies), but it is the late hours that ge
I just got back from doctor's office. I got another .5 cc in my band so now I am at 4.5 ccs. It was easier this time. I had the same PA do it, so it was faster finding the port and doing the fill.   It has only been 2 weeks since my 1st fill, but I was not feeling any restrictions. Besides today and tomorrow, I am eating solid foods now. Hopefully that will help with the weight loss. The soft foods just don't stay in the pouch long enough to stay full.   Since I have been eating solids
I moved my 2nd fill date to this Thursday. I was supposed to go next Thurs, but I really do not want to wait. I can barely tell a difference since my 1st fill. I do get full, but not really that fast. I am eating solids and am staying full a little longer. It just seems like I should be getting full faster on less food. Not really working out yet, but running around town as much as possible. does that count for anything
It has been a little over 3 weeks. I am so glad that I was introduced to this site. There is so much good information and friendly people here. My port site is still hurting a bit, but not all day and very manageable. I am still weighing myself 2 times a day. I really want to stop doing that, because it seems to be discouraging to see the numbers hoover around.   Since I told so many people that I did the band, I now have a lot of people asking me how is the weight loss going. I am still doin
I had my first fill yesterday. It was not that bad... I already had 3 ccs in the band from surgery and they added 1 more cc, so now I have 4 ccs. He had to poke around to get the needle into the port, but it really was not painful. Just really weird pushing and preasure feelings. I drank a little bit of water and was on my way home...   I was on all liquids for the day of the fill and on soft foods now.   I have my next fill set for 3 weeks.   The clinic is moving to a new location next
 It has been a bit over 2 full weeks since surgery date. I am not sore at all anymore, but I do feel the port every once in a while. I went to post opt and got to set a date for my first fill - April 13 or 14...   I have been eating pretty normally for the most part. Tuna salad is my main course most meals. I have had chicken and meat loaf. All portions are cut down, but not as much as I would like. I am sure after the first fill things will be different.   I have lost another p
