It's great to hear my husband and my daughter as well as my grandchildren say they can already see that I've lost weight. I've lost weight before only to gain it all plus some back. Now with my Realize Band and wise menu choices, I don't have to worry about this 16 pounds I've already lost ever coming back, so GOODBYE, so long, won't see you later 16 pounds. Hahaha. It's very important that we banders have a support system through our family and friends.
I feel awesome already, I've lost 16 pounds. 8 on my pre-op and 8 since May 6th, my surgery day. I can see my face and neck again. I am walking better already. What's not to love? I'm on my full liquid diet now and loving it. I made a great decision when I decided on my Realize Band. I'm getting around pretty good too even though it's only been 6 days ago.
TOMORROW IS MY PRE-OP TESTING DAY SO I AM EXCITED TO BE ANOTHER STEP CLOSER TO MY SURGERY DATE. THANK YOU CALI FOR YOUR COMMENT. GOOD LUCK IN ALL YOUR DAILY ENCOUNTERS. WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY CAN MAKE. THE DAY WE EACH DECIDE TO TAKE CONTROL OF OUR FUTURE AND HOW WE WILL CONTROL OUR FOOD INSTEAD OF ALLOWING FOOD TO CONTROL US. I ALSO WANT TO THANK WYNN FOR POSTING THE DAILY CHALLENGES THAT WILL HELP AND ENCOURAGE US AS WE MOVE FORWARD TO A BETTER QUALITY LIFESTYLE.
I've been on the chat side for awhile today and met some real nice folks. Most are post-op patients so I've learned alot of what to expect after my surgery. I'm getting a little nervous but am very excited and welcome a better quality of life. That's my payoff for giving up ice cream and cookies haha. Seems that my pre-op anxiety is normal and post-op tears will be too. I can't wait to lose this extra person I've been carrying for so long.
