So I was banded Nov 3, 08. The first four weeks after surgery were not so bad I guess I had a lot of inflammtion due to also having a huge hiatal hernia repaired with mesh. After that though I thought I would starve to death. I had a four cc fill six weeks after surgery and I still feel like I'm eating more than I should be able to. I have only been sick once and that was new yrs eve after eating a shrimp and scallops both pretty dry. To date my weight loss is 31 pounds,an average day for me is
