Ok - had my one week post-op check-up today. Lost 3 pounds since surgery day - and wow, I am getting so tired of liquids. My teeth are beginning to feel a bit neglected at this point! Well - thank God for stranined cream soups and Carnation Instant Breakfast. Next appointment and first fill is scheduled for the Friday before Thanksgiving (nov 21?).
Ok - I was banded this past Monday, October 6th! Although I was aggravated with the insurance approval and waiting period, I am grateful for the time to be able to study and research my options. I feel when I went in and had the surgery that I was really ready - prepared for what was to come. Now I am ready to get back to life as usual and go back to work on Tuesday (after my first post-op visit with the surgeon and the 'back-to-work-approval'). The worst thing post-op?? The gas.
