Today is July 18, 2008 and it has been almost two months since I had my Lap Band Surgery. I have to admit that the first few weeks after surgery were pretty rough. I was in pain and couldn't not find a comfortable way to sit, sleep, do anything. Once that went away, I would say by about the middle - end of June I was in good spirits and feeling much better. I have not had any problems with my diet at all. I did the liquid after surgery diet and then the mashed foods and by the end of June I
I started my lap band journey in Janaury 2008 by attending a seminar presented by Dr. Carlos Barba. My decision to start the journey was primarily based on what my weight was doing to my body. After my son was born in Feb 07 I developed major problems with my back, a herniated disk. They also said I was borderline diabetic. The doc suggested that weight loss would make it better. It has been hard for me to get around and even do simple things like playing on the floor with my son. I guess
