The Start of New Life

Entries in this blog

I am just now starting to feel hungry again. It dose'nt take much to make me feelI full which is a good thing. I really like that I can now have cottage cheese. I love it. Fat free of course. Before the surgery I could eat a whole carton now two teaspoons and I'm good. If the weather would break here (Rain) I would walk the dog. I really want to walk. It makes me feel good and it gets the gas to go away. So much for now will write more later.
I had my surgery Friday the 25th. I came home yesterday. I really do not feel any resriction but I am still on liquids. I am so happy and motivated by this. I can't wait to see whatthe future holds. My doctor and hospital were wonderful. I am in St Louis MO and went to DePaul Hospital with Dr. Scott. He was very nice the day of surgery. I did not see him when I was discharged. The hospital staff were great. Very caring and friendly. Hope everyone has as good an experience as me.
I am having my surgery on Friday. I am so excited. This web site is great. I am more worried about being away from home for a night than the surgery itself. I got a membership to the YMCA. I can't wait to work out. It will be even better when I can swim. I hope I keep posting here. I tend to not write a journal as much as I should. I'll write more after my surgery.
