I had my surgery on August 13th, 2007. I thought that was it and the weight would just fall off......boy was I wrong. First of all, I stopped breathing while they were putting me under and had to do a emergency trachiotimy. You would think that almost dying would be enough incentive to be serious about losing weight and eating healthy, well, to my surprise, when I got home from surgery after 5 days in the hospital, I would eat whatever I could tolerate. I did lose about 20 lbs in the hosptial. O
