About this blog

Help! I am 48 weigh 227lbs and don't exactly know what my BMI is.  I have scheduled my appointment for a free consultation on Wednesday 8/3/17. I'm praying to GOD that I will qualify for the lap band surgery.   I'm so tired of the yoyo with my weight.  I really need something to be long lasting.  My biggest fear is that the insurance company will not cover the cost of the surgery and again I would have failed at my attempt (Yes, it's the second time I tried).  Can anyone offer some advice on how I can get my insurance company to cover the cost?

Thanks

Desperately seeking help from the Bariatric committee
