My name is Ashly and I am 24 years old and have been married for 6 years now. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby since we got married 6 years ago. No such luck. When i was 18 years old I went to the doctor because I hadn't been getting my monthly cycle anymore and I started to gain weight eventhough my eating habbits never changed. My doctor told me that I had PCOS. Poly Cystic Overian Syndrom. Along with PCOS I had also gotten IRS, Insullin Resistance Syndrome. Well from then on out I changed my eating for the better, exercised more and started taking metaphorman to try and get my insullin under control so that I could lose weight and my cysts would shrink. Well here it is 6 years later and none of it has worked. My body is still over producing insullin. I have an ungodly amount of cysts and I am 339lbs. So I talked to my dr. about getting the lap band done. I'm just starting the process. My insurance okayed me to go to the consult but i have to attend the seminar first. so i will be attending that tonight. I would like to be able to have a jump start to get my life back and be able to have kids. Hopefully it will work out for me.
