I have struggled with my weight for many years.  I am a "repeat offender" with Weight Watchers and I really enjoyed the program.  I was successful with that program (I lost 80 pounds) but hit a plateau I could never seem to break regardless of how much I exercised or how well I ate.  I had my thyroid removed in April but nothing changed with my weight.  The same 5 pounds come and go, never more than those 5.  I began thinking about lap band surgery earlier this year but did not pursue it because I was going to give Weight Watchers one more try.  I finally made an appointment for a consultation for lap band surgery but cancelled it.  A few months after cancelling this appointment I received an email with a "special price" for lap band surgery so I made another appointment.  I had that appointment on October 27, 2015 and decided to move forward with the process.  I am ready for a change!!
