  2. Hi everyone thanks so much for your replies. My saga continued. I had .4ml in to add up to 4.9ml well too tight and ended up at hospital and on a drip from swelling. I dont swell until 2 days latee. So 1ml removed. This week i am back up to 4.5ml and all well. I have no restriction. I must be getting closer to that green zone surely.
  3. hello there Am much better thanks. i ended uo having another .6ml taken out. then a week later had .2ml put back in and was fine
  4. Thank you very much for your reply
  5. Hello Would people be so kind to share band adjustment experiences with me. My first adjustment was 2ml and i didnt feel any restriction. My second fill was 1ml. That afternoon and following day I couldnt keep down Water and had .7ml taken out. I could drink water straight after. Two days later after 48 hours on liquids I could only keep down small amounts of liquid and no soft foods. So another adjustment to have Fluid removed. Not from my specialist as he was doing surgery. The lady said i had 4.6ml in my band. The numbers didnt add up with two adjustments totalling 3ml. So I had a further .3ml taken out. Had a drink of water and I was still too tight. Another .3ml taken out straight after and I was fine to drink water. That was yesterday. I have had Soup for tea last night and drinking fluids is now fine. I have 4cc in my band now. My band is a APS 10. small. My confusion is I now have less fluid than i had prior to my last fill. Prior to my last fill I was hungry and still eating big portions after my first fill of 2ml. As I am liquids now I am feeling hungry. In 2 weeks after eating solids If i feel game enough is there any suggestions on what amount to have filled? I will also ask my specialist however am hoping people may share their own experience and advices of band adjustment Thank you on advance.
  6. Thanks Gaylene I stayed on the liquids for 48 hours then soft food but too tight. Am going to have more taken out tomorrow. I am suprised this being my second fill how tight it is, its made a huge difference since the first fill. After the first fill i didnt notice any change.
  7. I managed to eat smooth soup for dinner last night so am wondering why it feels so much tighter today.
  8. Could the band still be too tight if i am getting the tight chest even eating yoghurt? liquids were fine but i cant seem to eat anything much else. maybe more needs to come out. my god i am not enjoying this atm.
  9. i think your band is too tight. after my last fill it took several hours to not keep water dpwn. the next day i had an unfill. even today 2 days later i think i may need more out.

  11. I didn't realise that was a huge fill. Yesterday he added a 1ml fill which was my 2nd fill in total. I thought that was normal. And today removed the .7ml. What a scary experience it was. Feeling so much better now! Now I feel on my way of this positive journey
  12. Have lefy surgery had .7ml Fluid removed and feel normal. How scary. Am in Sydney Australia Thank you so much again for replying. It's much appreciated
  13. Luckily it was too much fluid! Had .7ml removed and can now drink
  14. Thank you so much for your help. Am in surgery room now waiting will let you know how I go
  15. Please help it is night here. Today I had my second fill & felt fine. I ordered a takeaway hot Mocha with low fat milk. Nearing the end I swollowed a amount of thick gluggy chocolate. Some time later my chest became tight & i had to be sick however nothing came up only thick saliva. I can hardly keep Fluid down & its been about 7 hours. It goes in cycles when fluid stays down or it doesnt. Could it be that i am very swollen ? It seems unusual if there would be too much fluid as its only 2nd fill and i was fine until the mocha drink. Its night time here now. My chest is not tight as i am not drinking atm. please help thanks
  16. Hi everyone Had my second fill yesterday of 1ml and after a few hours found it hard to keep fluids down. This happened after drinking a sludge of chocolate left in my hot mocha. Hopefully its only the band that needs unfilling. Have been frightened. Am at the surgery to see my specialist to have some Fluid removed.
