New in Illinois

Hi,

I had my surgery on Thursday Sep-9-05 at the Peoria IL Methodist Hospital. Dr Thomas Rossi is my surgeon.

I lost 10.5# prior to surgery on the clear liquid diet. I would like to lose another 100#.

I'm healing quite nicely and probably should go back to work Wednesday or Thursday. I just want to make sure that I have this eating schedule down since at my place of employment, I have to account for every minute away from my desk.

Merry

Welcome Merry, I too am from Illinois. I'm east central, Near Champaign. Congrats on your banding and successes so far. Keep reading here and you'll find info on just about anything you want to know, (and maybe even a few you don't) but this site is worth all of our combined lost weights in gold!

Hi Pam, I'm from Moline IL. I had to go to Peoria because none of the doctors in the Quad Cities will do lap band yet. I think you were brave, going out of the country for your surgery. I was scared enough having it done in the US.

WELCOME!!!! I am new and from IL. this board is so helpful. any questions I am sure you can find the answer here. I will be getting my band hopefully in january. a little scared but ready. Not looking foward to the two week liquids before surgery. I am glad you are healing well. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
